It's also setting a good example for my children by seeing me work on my commonplace; they are more apt to do the same. :)
Love your blog and I am adding it to my sidebar. :)
Have a lovely day!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13273301456471935137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006833743714206736.post-1401339223567765572015-03-13T15:08:18.626-07:002015-03-13T15:08:18.626-07:00I'm tempted to go online too during that time,...I'm tempted to go online too during that time, but I find that I'm grumpier when I'm interrupted while reading or commenting online. (*ahem*) I also realized that I really would rather model commonplacing or something along those lines to my kids rather than staring at my computer or device, especially since they don't get what I'm doing during that time.Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12689104216675201913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006833743714206736.post-17963387314461372052015-03-12T10:37:31.588-07:002015-03-12T10:37:31.588-07:00I really like your strategy, Amber! I am not doing much e-reading these days (somehow it's just not appealing to me), but I did in the newborn days, and I imagine I will be again soon. ;) So I will have to keep your highlighting strategy in mind. I also like the idea of sitting down and working on your commonplace when the kids are doing table work. When I have to sit and "be available," I usually use that time to go online. Probably not the best way I could be spending my time! :)Celestehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05834674328751444179noreply@blogger.com
